01 — Approach

Closed process

Briefs are not posted publicly. Talent are approached individually, and where the brief would identify the house or the collection they are told only what they need in order to decide. Confidentiality terms are in place before any material changes hands.

02 — Approach

Carriage, and wearing the piece

High jewellery and couture ask the talent to carry the piece rather than the other way round: neck and hand presentation for jewellery, stillness for a long exposure, posture that holds a heavy garment without strain reading in the frame. We cast against the pieces, which means we need to see them or a close reference.

03 — Approach

Exclusivity, stated plainly

Where a house needs a face not to appear for a competitor, that is a term with a scope and a duration and a price. It is agreed in writing before the booking. An exclusivity that was assumed rather than agreed is not enforceable and is not worth relying on.

How is confidentiality maintained?

The brief is never published, talent are approached individually and told only what is needed, and confidentiality terms are signed before material is shared. Shortlists are delivered to named recipients rather than to a shared link.

Can a face be held exclusive to our house?

Yes, as a written term with a defined category, territory and duration, priced accordingly. We will tell you what the talent is already committed to before you agree it, so an exclusivity is not bought against a conflict that already exists.

Do you cast for in-store and event work?

Yes — boutique launches, trunk shows and private client evenings. That is a hosting brief as much as a modelling one, and we cast for how someone handles a room and a client, not only for how they photograph.
