Corporate Casting

Brand film and internal communications

Brief our team Apply as talent

Corporate film fails when it looks cast. The brief is almost always for people who read as employees, customers or specialists rather than as models — which is a harder casting problem than it sounds, and the opposite of most other briefs.

How this discipline is cast

Corporate Casting, in practice

Portfolio session, tethered reviewPortfolio session, tethered review
01 — Approach

Real, not polished

The register here is credibility. We shortlist across a genuine age and body range and avoid the uniformly photogenic look that makes an internal film feel like an advert. Where a role is a specialist — a technician, a clinician, a site worker — we look for talent who can handle the equipment convincingly, because an audience of colleagues will notice immediately if they cannot.

02 — Approach

Comfortable on camera, unscripted

Much of this is pieces to camera, walk-and-talks and interview setups without a full script. That needs someone who stays natural while being directed. We collect a short piece to camera at shortlist stage so you are judging the thing you are buying.

Line-up before callLine-up before call
03 — Approach

Internal use is still usage

A film described as internal still has a territory and a duration, and it frequently ends up on a public careers page. We agree the actual scope in writing so a later reuse is a decision rather than a breach.

Questions

Corporate Casting — common questions

Can you cast people who look like our actual staff?

That is the usual brief and it is the right one. Send the age range, the roles and the sites, and if you can, a few reference frames of real teams. The shortlist is built to that rather than to a general commercial look.

Do you cast for specific technical roles?

Yes, and we check the competence rather than assume it. If a role handles equipment on camera, tell us what the action is and we shortlist against it — an unconvincing hand on a tool is what an internal audience sees first.

Is internal-only usage cheaper?

Generally yes, because the scope is narrower. It still has to be defined. Internal films often migrate to careers pages and social, so we agree the real scope up front rather than the intended one.

Dates, budget band, usage and the look you are after. We come back with a shortlist and a quote rather than a folder of profiles.
